Virgie LaVerne Dove, age 82, left us to be with the Lord on Feb. 4, 2017. Mrs. Dove's visitation will be 4-6p.m., Sunday at Pollard Funeral Home. The funeral will be 3p.m. Monday at West Chester Baptist Church and conducted by Reverends Jeff Gulish and Jimmy Dillard. She will be buried at Armenia Cemetery. She was a member of West Chester Baptist Church, a member of the Sunshine Sunday school class and the WMU.

She was the daughter of the late Buster Hildreth and Pearl Vincent Hildreth Pence and the wife of Neely W. Dove of the home. She is also survived by one son Scott Dove (Helen) of Chester; one sister Libby Ransom (Lionel) of Rock Hill; two grandchildren, Charles Lynn Dove (Tracy) and Amanda Moore (Lin); three great-grandchildren, Dakota Davis (Matt), Christopher Dove, Gabriel Moore; one great-great grandchild, Dyani Davis. She was preceded in death by one son, Lynn Dove.

The family is gathering at the home, 3450 Armenia Road in Chester. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Armenia Cemetery Association, 2363 Armenia Rd. or West Chester Baptist Church, 1898 Pinckney Rd. 29706.
