Linda Gail Knotts, 45, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday. She was born in Stanley County, NC. Linda is survived by her three daughters, Courtney and Kaitlyn Greene, both of Chester and Carolyne Greene of Myrtle Beach, SC; a cousin reared as a daughter, Lydia Bowman; her father, Mr. Frankie Harrington of NC; brother Michael Branch of Blackstock; sister Deloras Mullis of Wadesboro, NC; her polyamorous partners, Lori & Chester Wines of Chester; grandchildren, Rae'Gan Novaleigh, and Riverlynn Kirkpatrick.

Linda leaves behind a rich legacy of love and family bonds. Her memory will be treasured forever by the many that considered her as a mom.

Linda rescued Pit Bulls and enjoyed her time spent with her family and making fairy gardens with her grandchildren. She enjoyed long car rides while listening to her music. Linda devoted herself to a career in law enforcement by serving with the Chester Police Department and the Chester County Sheriff's Department. She was a former volunteer firefighter with the Richburg Fire Department.

The visitation for Linda will be Sunday, July 28th, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Pollard Funeral Home. Following the visitation at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Buster Greene will conduct the funeral service in the chapel. The burial will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.
