Linda Yates Thompson, 67, passed away Wednesday. She was the daughter of the late Luther C. and Mary Ellen Gay Yates. She is survived by three daughters, Samantha Farmer (Keith), Kayla McCloud (Thomas), Karen Bell (Brian) all of Chester; two brothers, Wayne and Warren Yates of Winnsboro; three sisters, Tammie Haney and Wanda Ellis both of Winnsboro and Rhonda Lee Wright of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Tara Farmer, Kylee McCloud and Leeland McCloud.

The family and friends will gather for a time of remembrance, 2:00 p.m. Friday in the parlor of Pollard Funeral Home, 115 York Street in Chester.
