Lynda Smith, age 62, of Chester passed away in a local nursing facility. She was the widow of the late Robert H. Smith. She was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Peggy Stoudenmire and Frances M. Stokes. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Smith (Leanne) of Valdosta, Georgia and Jason Travis Smith of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Gage, Brianna, Aidan, Leland, Tyson, and Kitana.

A drop-in of friends and family will be 5 -7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 8th. at her home, 2557 Knox station Road in Chester.
