He loved his job and his customers at Los Magueyes Mexican Restaurant.Marco Antonio Alvarez, age 29, of West End Street passed away Monday, October 19, 2015.

Marco was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was the son of Michelle Busbin Alvarez of Atlanta and Rogelio Alvarez and step mother, Magdalena Alvarez, of Pauline.

Marco was the husband of Kandi Holder Alvarez of the home. He is also survived by his four children, Hailey West, Nathan, Felix, and Leo Alvarez, all of the home; three brothers, Mario and Roy Alvarez of Pauline, and Rafael Zambrano of Missouri; four sisters, Ashley, Esperansa and Linda Alvarez of Atlanta and Isabel Alvarez of Pauline; paternal grandfather Ramon Alvarez of Mexico; maternal grandmother, Frances Gearin Walker and maternal grandfather, Joe Busbin of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Isabel Alvarez.

Marco was a Seventh Day Adventist, he loved his family and his time spent with them.  He was fond of old cars, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. He loved his job and his customers at Los Magueyes Mexican Restaurant.

The funeral service to honor the life of Marco will be held at Chester First Baptist Church, 6 o'clock p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015. Visitation and a gathering of friends and family will follow the service and be held in the church sanctuary. Reverends Clay Waldrip, Steve Bishop and Moises Zauza will conduct the service.

Locally owned Pollard Funeral Home is serving the family.
