Margie Gable

Margie Parker Gable, age 87, went to heaven October 15, 2015. She was at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Chester to the late Alonzo and Beulah Beam Parker. Mrs. Gable was the wife of Marvin J. Gable to whom she was married 64 years.

She is also survived by her two daughters, Jean Woodle and her husband Danny of Lowrys, Phyllis Caldwell and her husband Mark of Rock Hill; one brother, Curtis Parker of Bennettsville; two sisters, Beulah Plyler of Gastonia and Inez Taylor of Great Falls; grandchildren, Lisa Bass (Ken), Shannon Lawson (Amy), Dana Dempsey (Denny), Nona Woodle, Steven Caldwell (deceased), Kell Benson (Michelle); Great-Grandchildren, Miranda, Zane, Lilli, Mary Addison, Parker and McKellar; her caregivers, Christina Madina, Barbara Campbell, Amy Crouch, Christina Montgomery.

The visitation and funeral for Mrs. Gable will be at Armenia United Methodist Church on Friday, October 16, 2015. The visitation will be from 2:00pm until 3:00pm, in the sanctuary, the funeral will be conducted by Reverend Chris Snelgrove at 3:00pm. Mrs. Gable will be laid to rest in the Armenia U.M.C. Cemetery.
