Mark Hawkins, Sr. age 67 of Chester passed away July 12, 2018. He was born in Union, SC in 1950. He was retired from Chester Golf Club and enjoyed deer hunting. He was of the Christian faith and raised in the Nazarene church. His graveside funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday July 15, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the cemetery after the service.

He is survived by; his mother, Ada Royer of Chester; three sons, Mark S. Hawkins, Jr. (Melinda) of Lancaster, Billy J. Hawkins of Chester, Bobby J. Hawkins (Bridget) of Lancaster; one brother Ronnie Hawkins of Blackstock; three sisters, Janie Mahaffey (Robert) of Chester and Ann Hawkins of Jacksonville, Florida, Marlene Crosby (Byron) of Chester; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
