Mary Ann Greene, 81, passed away Tuesday in Lexington-Agape Hospice. She was born in York County to the late Buford and Bertha Jones Rector and the widow of Fred Greene, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Frankie Spain of Conway and step-son, Dennis Greene (Darlene) of Chester; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beatrice Allen.

Mary Ann was a retired emergency 911-telecommunicator from the Chester County Sherriff Office, a member of Together as One Ministries, a past member of, Circling Square Dance Club, 4H Horse Club and Hilltop Writers Guild.

The memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home, 115 York Street in Chester, SC. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
