CHESTER-

Mary Ann Johnson, 69, passed away in Columbia on Tuesday. She was the wife of Arthur W. Johnson of the home and the mother of Cynthia Harger (David) of Middletown Conn., Karen Smith (Brian) of Chester, Raymond E Metz, III (Melissa) of Rock Hill. She is also survived by her siblings, Nancy Strom of Chester, Patricia Post (Michael) of Houston, Texas, Hazel Klepper (Nathan) of Chester, William Rousey of Chester; grandchildren, Kassandra Wilson (Chais), David Harger, Jr., Victoria Smith, Sarina Harger, London Harger, Reece Haynes, Jack Haynes, Carmen Pender (Robert), James Wilson (Brittany) and one great-grandchild, Charlie Wilson, IV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James McMahan & Mary Ellen Wallen Rousey; sister, Dorothy Corey.

The memorial service & gathering of friends will be held 5-7 p.m. Saturday, September 2nd at Pollard Funeral Home. Reverand Gene Gaston will have words of comfort.
