Mary Ann Vanderford Patrick, 81, passed away Sunday. She was the recent widow of John R. Patrick, Sr.

Mrs. Patrick was the daughter of the late Walter "Snake" and Bernice Gibson Vanderford. She is survived by 3 sons, John R. Patrick, II (Wanda) of Chester, Scott Patrick of Fernandina Beach, Fl., Ricky Patrick (Roxanne) of Chester; 3 daughters, Teresa Johnson (Dave) of Richburg, Deborah Ernandez (Hughie) of Richburg, Karen Horne (Chris) of Richburg; grandchildren, Travis White, John R. Patrick, III, Jason White, Michael Patrick, Miranda Broome, Jessica Ratterree, Erin Gladden, Leroy Patrick, Alicia Patrick, Logan Patrick, Dillon Ernandez, Stephen Patrick, Summer Rivera and Trinity Ratterree; 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Patsy Justus (Alvin) & Beth Bevis (Dean) of Union, SC and Connie Chappell (Bill) of Forest City, NC. Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by; 1 grandson, James White and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Patrick was of the Nazarene faith. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Before her health declined she loved cooking and baking for them. She retired several years ago from Chester County Hospital.

Those wanting to visit with the family may drop by the home at 19 East Elliott Street at any time. The Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Pollard Funeral Home. The graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Gerald Moss, 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester.
