Mildred D. McCloud, age 89, of Chester passed away Thursday. She was the widow of Harold Leon McCloud and the daughter of the late Cecil and Lily Emory Davis. She is survived by one son, Ronnie McCloud (Debbie) of Chester; two daughters, Donna Murrell (Danny) of Chester and Linda Grantham (Rob) of York; 12 grand-children and numerous other great-grand-children and family members. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy, JD, Jack and Frank Davis; her sisters, Edna Brakefield and Doris Howard; her daughter, Cynthia Gheen.

Mrs. McCloud was of the Nazarene faith and she loved reading and working puzzles. She was retired from Springs Industries where she was a cloth inspector.

Visitation for Mrs. McCloud will be 5-7p.m. Saturday at Pollard Funeral Home. The graveside funeral will be 2pm. Sunday in Evergreen Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Kevin Taylor.
