Nancy D. Black, 85, of Center Street in Chester died October 17, 2018 in Chester County Nursing Center. She was born in Union, SC and the daughter of the late Samuel R. and Belle Knox Black. She retired from Springs Industries here in Chester. She is survived by her grand-daughter and caregiver, Hope Black McCree (Michael) of Chester; one sister, Helen Meredith of Chester; great-grand-children, Jada, Maci & Teyton McCree. She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Wayne Black and one great-grandson, Jordan Isaiah McCree.

Ms. Black was a Christian and she loved spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.
