Nathan D. Adkins is the son of the late Mike and Gladys Arthur Adkins. He is the widow of Joan A. Adkins. He is survived by his children, Michele Hall, Vella Barefoot, Jody Hobbs, Elizabeth Bryson, Vickey Limes, Cynthia Bennett, Dave Davidson, Patricia Mule and Thomas Davidson. His surviving grandchildren are, Michael Adkins, Harley Davidson, Stephen Grose, Albert Grose, Jr., Shelby Champion, Samantha Champion, Zachery Champion, Calvin Adkins, William Hobbs, Nathan Pack, David Gilliam, Frankie Marie, Joseph Cheech, Kayla Barefoot and Ernie Tokes; one sister, Phyllis Bryson (Wayne).

Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Bryson; three brothers, William "Wig" Grose, John Grose, Bobby Clemons; two sisters, Rosalie Adkins, Annamarie Adkins; one son, Denver Allen Adkins Clemons.

Mr. Adkins was a Christian and a retired fence installer; he was born in Beckwith, West Virginia where his urn will be buried in the Adkins Family Cemetery.
