Ned Davis, Sr., 80, passed away Tuesday, April 14th. He was the widower of Ellen Varnadore Davis and the son of the late Adam and Olivene Jolly Davis. He is survived by one son, Ned Davis, Jr. (Carolyn) of Lexington, SC; two sisters Barbara “Bob” Ledford and Laura “Lauree” Austin; four grandchildren, Tara, Kristie, Robert and William; three great-grandchildren, Raleigh, Ryan and Kayden; and his faithful dog, Cubby. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Jones.

Mr. Davis was a member of Orrs Baptist Church.

On Monday, April 20th Rev. Daniel Wightman will conduct the graveside funeral, 11:00 a.m. at Chester Memorial Gardens.
