Neely W. Dove, 89, of Chester passed away Thursday. He was the son of the late James N. and Mary Clack Dove and the widow of Laverne Hildreth Dove to whom he was married over 60 years. He is survived by one son, Scott Dove (Helen) of Chester; two sisters, Louise McManus and Essie Paul both of Chester; very special friend, Shirley Shuler; 4 grandchildren, Charles Lynn Dove (Tracy), Amanda Moore (Lin), Archie Crouch (Terisa) and John Crouch (Sarah); 3 great-grandchildren, Dakota Davis (Matt), Christopher Dove (Cassidy), Gabriel Moore; 1 great-great-grand, Dyani Davis.  He was preceded in death by one son, Lynn Dove.

Mr. Dove was a member of West Chester Baptist Church, a Ruritan member, a member of The Bicentennial Wagon Train and the North Chester Saddle Club.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00p.m., Friday at Pollard Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted by the reverends Jeff Phillips, Jeff Gulish and Jeff Williams at 2:00p.m., Saturday at West Chester Baptist Church. The burial will be in Armenia Methodist Cemetery.
