Noah H. Smith, 75 passed away Saturday. He was the husband of Mary Spence Smith of the home and the son of Vera Sanders Smith of Chester. Mr. Smith is also survived by two sons, Noah H. Smith, Jr. (Beckie), Chance Smith (Erin Sawyer); one daughter, Pacia Smith (Steve Gardner) of Rock Hill; one brother, Floyd Smith (Carol) of Great Falls; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Woodrow Smith, two brothers, Thomas F. and Lannis E. Smith.

Mr. Smith was a Methodist by faith; he dearly loved all his family, enjoyed fixing and repairing things from cars to furniture, and being a musician.

The visitation will be held 6 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 28th. at Pollard Funeral Home. The graveside funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Spence Cemetery on H. Spence Drive in Chester.
