Nona Wheaton, 65, passed away Friday in Piedmont Medical Center. She was the wife of Harry Wheaton, II and the daughter of Peggy Shacklock Speir of McConnells and the late Glenn Wayne Speir. She is also survived by her children, Harry E. Wheaton of Rock Hill, Kyle Coaklin of Colorado, Megan Shoaff (Rick) of Louisiana, Mindy Speir (Tabatha Davis) of Sharron and Heather Wheaton of Sharron, Pennsylvania; brothers Jeffrey Speir (Sheila) of McConnells and David Speir (Monica) of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Cindy Humphrey.

Nona loved crafting and going to various beaches where she enjoyed visiting and seeing lighthouses.

It was her wishes that no public services be held.
