Obituary

Patricia Reid Clack, age 70, of Chester, passed away Sunday January 11, 2015 while surrounded by her family and her faithful Chihuahua, LuLu. She was the daughter of the late Walter L. Reid, Sr. and Esther Brakefield Reid-Jones. Patricia was twice married and widowed; first to Elijah "Doodle" Neely and second to John A. Clack. She was retired from Chester Sportswear, and she attended Chester First Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to LuLu she is survived by a brother, Ronnie Reid of Chester; a sister, Mildred Henderson (David) of Chester; nieces and nephews, Susan Riddle (Steve) of Myrtle Beach, Sandy Young of Chester, Helen Bennett of Spartanburg, Kelly Going (Ben) of Chester, Michael B. Williams (Jennifer) of Lancaster, Nikki Reid-Clowney (Johnny) of Blair and Chris Williams (April) of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by siblings Dorothy N. Williams and Walter Lee Reid, Jr.

Visitation for Patricia will be 6 - 8p.m. Tuesday at Pollard Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted by Pastor John Porter, 2p.m. Wednesday, at Chester First Church of the Nazarene. Patricia will be laid to rest at Chester Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in Patricia's name to Hospice care of SC, 173 Columbia St, Chester or Chester First Church of the Nazarene, 182 Pinckney Street, Chester, SC 29706.

The family is gathering at the home of her brother, Ronnie Reid, 506 Lancaster Street in Chester.
