Patricia Ann Tanner Stewart, age 89, passed away at her home, Saturday August, 8, 2015. Her memorial service will be conducted by Reverend Randall Runion at Pollard Funeral Home, 2 o'clock Friday, August 14th. The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service from noon until 2 o'clock.

Mrs. Stewart was born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Herbert and Ruth Healy Tanner. She was the devoted wife of William E. Stewart of the home. She is also survived by three daughters, Nikki D. Williams of Wickliffe, Ohio, Dawn Stewart of Rock Hill, Teri Harris of Chester; one son, Shawn W. Stewart and his wife Lynn of Lemon Grove, California; one sister, Beatrice Bigelow of Warner Springs, California; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Travis, Brett, Tanner, Erica and Kasey; great-grandchildren, Bryan, Melissa, Harper and Owen; soon to be born great-grandchild, Blake.

Mrs. Stewart was a Christian and she was an animal lover. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to ASPCA online at aspca.org. The ASPCA has worked tirelessly to put an end to animal abuse and neglect.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers of Chester Regional Nursing Center and Agape Hospice for their kindness and care given Mrs. Stewart.
