Raymond "Butch" Lawson, Jr., age 67, passed away January 3, 2018. Butch was the son of the late Raymond E. and Eleanor Dill Lawson, Sr. and the husband of Teresa Surrett Lawson. He is also survived by his children, Logan Lawson and Margo Lawson of the home, Timothy Shannon Lawson (Amy) of Chester, and Lisa Bass (Ken) of Chester; one brother, Mike Lawson of Chester and one sister, Carol Moore of Union, SC; and 3 grandchildren.

Mr. Lawson was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran and retired deputy from Chester County Sheriff's Office.

Mr. Lawson's Funeral Services will be conducted by Reverend Carole Walters and begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday January 5, 2018 at Bethel United Methodist Church. Friends and family will be received on Friday in the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. The burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Lowrys.
