Rebecca Roberts Cooper, age 93, formerly of Chester died December 30, 2017 in Rock Hill. The funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday January 1, 2018 in Pollard Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received on Monday in the Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. The burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Brittain will speak.

Mrs. Cooper was born in Chester to the late John and Minnie Roberts. She was of the Nazarene faith and retired from Springs Industries, Eureka Mill.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Christie Cooper (Will Carter) and Kerri Cooper Riley of Rock Hill, her daughter in law, Brenda Cooper, 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Ross Cooper, Sr. (KIA July 6, 1952 - Korean War) and her son Gilbert Ross Cooper, Jr.
