Services for Rebecca H. Hope, 92, will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Forest Lake Presbyterian Church with visitation following the service. Burial will be in the Olivet Presbyterian Church Cemetery in McConnells, S.C. at 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Hope passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016. Born in McConnells, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Edna F. Harshaw. She was predeceased by her husband Randolph W. Hope, Sr. and brother, Robert W. Harshaw, Jr.

Mrs. Hope was a charter member of Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, where, for many years, she taught Sunday School, attended worship services, and enjoyed many friendships. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her sons, Randolph W. Hope, Jr. (Peggy) of Columbia and Donald W. Hope (Leigh) of Pawleys Island; her beloved grandchildren, Randolph W. Hope III of Columbia, Christopher Lee Hope (Katie) of Irmo, Elizabeth A. Hope of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and Donald W. Hope, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee. She also leaved behind a great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Hope of Irmo whom she adored.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, 6500 N. Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC; or Olivet Presbyterian Church 159 Church Street, Street, McConnels, SC 29726.
