Richard George Girofalo, age 92, passed away May 2, 2015 at Chester Regional Medical Center. Mr. Girofalo was the husband of Cellisteen H. Girofalo. He is also survived by his daughter DebraLee Girofalo of Avon Park, Florida; grand-daughter Amanda Lee Huntzinger, her husband Adam; and great-grand-son Joshua Huntzinger.

Mr. Girofalo is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Jeanette Dyson Girofalo; son George Girofalo; sister, Kathrine Girofalo; and brother, John Girofalo.

Mr. Girofalo was born in Hoboken, New Jersey and he was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; and retired from Winn-Dixie and Bi-Lo stores in Chester.

A memorial service for Mr. Girofalo will be conducted by Reverend F.J."Eric" Shepard, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Pollard Funeral Home. The burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando, Florida.
