Richard G. Scranton, 82, of Chester, SC, passed away the 17th of August. He is survived by four daughters, Suzanne Warnick (David Berner), Kathleen Traina (Mark), Margaret Driscoll (David), Nancy Murnieks (Chris Schoenig); grandchildren, Jason Jaworski Traina (Sean Jaworski Traina), Kory Traina (Erin), Kristen Fischer (Thomas). Also surviving are two great-grand-children, Elliot Martin Traina and Bryce Thomas Fischer; special niece, Linda DeJesus (Juan); great nieces, Isabella and Elizabeth DeJesus, and several other nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 751, Chester, SC 29706.Pollard Funeral Home is serving the family.
