Richard D. "Danny" Woodle, age 73, quietly and suddenly passed away Wednesday evening. He was the son of the late John L. and Margaret Mitchem Woodle and the husband of Jean Gable Woodle. He was the father of Dana W. Dempsey (Dennis) of Taylors, SC and Nona Margaret Woodle of Boston, Mass. He was the grandfather of Parker J. and McKellar A. Dempsey.

Mr. Woodle was a retired school teacher and assistant principal, having served in Chester and Fairfield Counties. He was a member of Capers Chapel United Methodist Church.

The private celebration of Mr. Woodle's life was held 2:00p.m., February 14, 2020 in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home. Reverends Chris Snelgrove and James Curran spoke. The internment was in Armenia United Methodist Church Cemetery.
