Family and friends are celebrating the life and mourning the loss of Robert Elkins, Jr., 52.  He passed away Monday in Florence, SC at McCleod Regional Medical Center.

Robert was  the loving husband of Kim Bagwell Elkins and he was the son of Robert and Mary Chandler Elkins, Sr. of Chester. He is survived by one son, Jesse Elkins (Shayna) of York; one daughter, Samantha Elkins of Chester; one sister, Tonia Shoffner of Richburg; grand-children, Caybre Elkins, Avery Simpson, Emma Robertson, Jaxxon Elkins, Cullen Elkins and Waylon Elkins. He was preceded in death by one son, Christopher "Chris" Elkins.

Robert was a Christian and he loved traveling with Kim.
