Robert L. Lunger, age 81, went from his home to be with his Heavenly father on Saturday. He was the husband of Minnie McGeary Lunger of the home. He is also survived by three sons; Randy Lunger (Leslie) of Virginia, Eugene Lunger (Roxanne) of Penn., Robert Lunger, Jr. (Kamala) of Chester; four daughters, Robin Lunger of N.Y., Sharon Prouty (Bradley) of Penn., Pamela Burrous (John Jr.) of Penn., Mary Jane Pagano of Chester; one sister, Loretta Rishel (Jack) of N.Y.; 24 grand-children and 39 great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by; his parents, Thomas E. and Madelene Sutter Lunger, one brother, Thomas Lunger.

Mr. Lunger was a retired plant superintendent at Carolina Tank in Chester and former manager for Snyder Tank Corporation in Pennsylvania and he was an avid fisherman at Wateree and Monticello.

Visitation will be November 17, 6 -8 p.m. at Pollard Funeral Home. The funeral will be November 18, 2:00 p.m. at Chester ARP Church and officiated by Reverands Clint Davis and Dwight Pearson. Mr. Lunger will be buried in Marchand Cemetery in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The family will be gathering at the home, 1119 Craigbrow Circle.
