Ronald 'Whoop' Gerald Williford, 69, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief battle with cancer on Wednesday March 19, 2025. He was the son of the late Robert C. and Bernice 'Bennie' Gregory Williford. He is survived by his nieces and nephews; Brandon Williford (Crystal) whom he lived with prior to assisted living, Tody Williford (Missy), Tony Williford (Kim), Gina Estes, Jerry George, Jody George, and Sherri See.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald 'Donnie' Williford, Frances 'Pete' McKeown, Carroll George.

Whoop was one of a kind, and enjoyed spending most of his time outdoors. He worked various trades during his life, but in his later years he worked at the turkey farm and deer cooler. He enjoyed fishing and hunting when he was able, fishing being the favorite.  He was short in statue but big in heart. He had a love for his family, the outdoors, and animals of all kinds. His memories will live on in all who had the chance to know him.

Mr. Williford's Celebration of Life and Memorial Gathering of friends & family will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 23rd in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home.
