Rosemary Jackson Rousey passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022. She was the widow of Dennis C. Rousey and the daughter of the late Clarence V. Jackson and Mamie Purcell Jackson. She is survived by daughters, Jennifer Rousey Hinton and Heather Rousey Piper (Chris) both of Chester; brother, Clarence Vernon Jackson (Paulette) of Chester; sister, Vernita J. Wallace of Chocowinity, NC; beloved aunt, Nawana Ross; grandchildren, Hayleigh Rose Calldwell, Danielle Denise Rousey, Jackson Colby McWaters, Aylivia Rose Mills; great grandchild, Kaidyn Dajuan Hinton; 4 nephews, 1 niece.

Family and friends are welcome to visit at Jennifer's home, 542 Lakenglen Road.

Rosemary was a Baptist and she was fond of flower gardening and being with her family.

Her graveside funeral will be officiated by Mr. Richard Bianco, 12:00 p.m. Monday at Chester Memorial Gardens. Those serving as pallbearers are Jackson McWatters, Chris Piper, Matthew Jackson, Trey Jackson, Cody Jackson and Terrence Mills.
