Rosie Austin, age 82, passed away January 16, 2020 at her home. She was the widow of Robert G. Austin, Sr. and the daughter of the late Johnnie G. and Aggiedell Grant Weaver, Sr.

Mrs. Austin was a homemaker and the mother of Clarence Hicklin of Carlisle, Barbara McKeown of Union, and Linda Faulkner of Great Falls. She is also survived by her brother James E. Weaver (Joyce) of Great Falls; grand-children, Christy Melton, Ronald Byars, Jr. (Tommy), Bobbiejo Goings (Walter), Anita Tucker (Sam) and Franklin Faulkner, Jr.; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert G. Austin, Jr., brothers, Johnnie G. Weaver, brother, Bobby E. Weaver and sister, Dorothy Weaver.

On Monday Jan. 20 ^th , from 1-2 p.m. the family will receive friends at Pollard Funeral Home and the celebration of her life will begin at 2 p.m. in the chapel. The burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial be made in Mrs. Austin's name to Hospice Care of SC, 1639 Ebenezer Rd, RH 29732.
