Great Falls

Ruby Wright, 87, passed away Monday in a nursing facility. She was born in Chester and the daughter of the late Benjamin Bailey Ray and Grace Mary Mobley Ray. She is survived by her son, John Henry Wilson, Jr. "Rock" of Great Falls; daughter, Ann Wilson Tessnear of Heath Springs; brother, Charles Edward Ray (Karen) of Chester; sister, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Ray Hollifield of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two children, Judy Lynn Wilson Funderburk and Jimmy Preston Wilson; brother, Benjamin Thomas Ray.

The visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday at Great Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4 Underwood Avenue in Great Falls. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Corliss Woodson at 2:00 p.m.The burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester.
