Rufus Donald Lipford, 71, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was the son of the late Robert Clyde Lipford and Ruby Odom Lipford Estes. He is survived by two sisters, Debra Holley (Jim) and Sherl Grant (Terrell) both of Chester.

He was retired from the textile industry where he was a weaver.

A Celebration of Life for Rufus will be conducted by Mr. Jim Holley; 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023 in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home.
