Samuel 'Sammy' Bland, age 42, passed away August 28, 2018. He was engaged to be married to Angela Starnes and the father of Tyler Bland (Maddison) of Myrtle Beach and Bradley Bland (Kayla) of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by his brother, Lee Bland (Ashley Carl) of Chester and his sister, Karen Jennings of Chester; grandchildren, Paislee Bland, Landon Bland; nieces, Taylor Freeman, Zoey Hefner, Breanna Bland; nephews, Josh and Jake Jennings.

He was the son of the late James and Patricia Pitts Bland.

Mr. Bland enjoyed time with his family, hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was a dozer operator and employed in the grading and soil control industry.

A gathering of friends and family will be held to celebrate the life on Mr. Bland at Pollard Funeral Home, 4:00pm, Saturday October, 6th.
