UPDATE: The gathering of family and friends in memory of Mr. Estes will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday September 20th in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home. Mask are suggested.

Samuel "Buck" H. Estes, Jr., age 61, completed his life's journey Thursday morning and gained his wings. Born in Gaffney, "Buck" was the son of the late Samuel H. Estes, Sr. and Myrtle Long Estes. He was the husband of Harolyn McMahan Estes of the home and the father of Shelby Estes of Lowrys and Ginger Black of Blackstock. He is also survived by one sister, Linda Powers of High Point, NC; three grand-children, Xander Horne, Blake Horne and Wyatt McMahan and one on the way by Ginger.

A memorial service will be in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home and announced soon.
