Sara Frances Helms Langley Lanier, age 79, passed away March 20, 2018. Mrs. Lanier graduated from Chester High School in the class of 1956. She was the twice widowed; most recent husband, James Charles Lanier and her first husband, William Ross Langley. She was the daughter of the late George Dewey Helms and Christine Hanna Helms. She is survived by three grand-children, Dawn Langley-Williams, Jessica and Christopher Langley. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Ross Langley and Norman Scott Langley and one grandson Daniel Langley.

Ms. Lanier will be buried privately in Evergreen Cemetery.
