Sarah's memorial service will be held 2 o'clock on the afternoon of April 25, 2015 at Purity Presbyterian Church. At the conclusion of the memorial service friends will gather at Sarah's home for a reception. It was Sarah's desire that those attending her memorial service and reception not dress in the traditional black mourning clothing but to dress for joy and happiness!
Sarah Adams-Pepper of 119 York Street passed away March 31, 2015. Sara was born in Davidson County, NC to Guy F. and Matilda Craver Adams. Sarah was an artist, musician and a great cook. She attended Purity Presbyterian Church where she played in the hand bell choir and participated in the women's fellowship group. Sarah loved Chester and was a member of Chester Downtown Development Association, Chester Little Theater, and the Chester Arts Council.
She is survived by her honey and companion, "Red" Coldwell of Chester; one sister, Sue Jenkins and her husband Charles of Rock Hill, SC; her big fluffy cat "Sweets"; a sister-in-law Betsy Adams of Columbia, SC; nieces and nephews, Lissa Vandevort, Mark Jenkins, Christine Lutz, Tiel McCarty, and Frank Steir. She was pre deceased by her sister, Bobby Steir and brother, Roger Adams.
A memorial service will be held in the near future and announced by Pollard Funeral Home.
