Sherrill Tucker, 84, of Chester passed away Sunday in MUSC-Lancaster. He was born in Anson County, NC and the husband of Patricia Shipley Tucker. He is also survived by his daughter, Donna Tucker of Charlotte; his brother, Ronnie Tucker (Judy) of Chester. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Erie E. and Nina Parker Tucker; his son, Barry Tucker; sister, Bobbie Rose Traywick.

Mr. Tucker was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retired from A.G. Boone Company and a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Rock Hill.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials made in Mr. Tucker's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project by visiting woundedwarriorproject.org

Friends and family will gather for a time of remembrance and celebration service of Mr. Tuckers life in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home at 12:00 o'clock noon on May 4, 2024. Visitation will be held after the service.
