Shirley Mae Smith Wagner, 86, passed away Wednesday in Chester. She was the wife of Richard H. Wagner of the home and the daughter of the late Otto J. and Leola Miller Smith. She was the mother of Lanette Preston of Chester, Dennis Wagner (Kathy) of Charlotte, Cris J. Wagner (Donna) of Logan, Utah and Steven L. Wagner of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wagner was a Methodist and her passion was keeping busy with knitting, crochet, quilting, and sewing. She had a great love for her cats and dogs.
