Sylvia Wilson Brown, age 63, passed away March 11, 2016 at her home. She was the daughter of Rachael Morgan Wilson of Chester and the late Jimmy Wilson.

She was the widow of James Lawrence Brown, a homemaker and a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Formerly, she was a long time member of Chester First Church of the Nazarene when she lived in Chester.

She and her husband were foster parents for over ten years.

She is survived by her son, Russell Brown (Sarah Moss); daughter Michelle Brown, both of Rock Hill; sister Deborah Wilson  Caldwell (William) of Chester; grandchildren Kalieb James Brown and Victoria Michelle Brown. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Brooks "Lucky" Wilson and sister, Angela Ruth Wilson.

The family is gathering at her mother's home, 713 Center Road, in Chester.

The visitation and funeral for Mrs. Brown will be at Chester First Church of the Nazarene on Sunday, March, 13 2016. The visitation will be from 2:00pm until 3:00pm, the funeral will be conducted by Pastor Brian Howard at 3:00.  Mrs. Brown will be laid to rest in Chester Memorial Gardens.
