Thomas Lance, 56, passed away Sept. 10, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born in Ft. Mill, SC to the late Hoyt J. and Jennie Edwards Lance and he is survived by his wife, Tracey Mobley Lance of the home; his daughters, Kasie Lance (Edward) and Angelica Lance (Ebony) of Chester; two grand-children Aysia and Andre Hall; two brothers, John W. Lance of Cramerton, NC and Robert Lance of Charlotte; one sister, Wanda Edmondson of Georgia. He was preceded in death by one brother, Randall M. Lance.

Thomas was a Baptist and a retired industrial mechanic & millwright. He dearly loved his family, motorcycles, CB radios, and attending dirt track racing at Lancaster Speedway. Thomas was a former member of the Chester Rescue Squad.

His funeral will be held Noon, Thursday September 13, 2018 at Pollard Funeral Home. Reverend Ronnie Greene will officiate.

The committal service will be held after the weather clears from Hurricane Florence on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at Chester Memorial Garden s.
