Valerie Marie Bayes, 61, passed away Saturday in a local hospice facility. She is survived by her mother, Valerie Cannons Sasnett of Florida; one son, Reginald I. Bayes of Lancaster, SC; two daughters, Barbara E. Hillie (Preston) of Chester, SC, Megan E. Torres (Margo) of Mt. Crogan, SC; one brother, Wayne Sasnett (Seana) of Winter Haven, Fla.; close friends, Norma Lee Clark, April Marie Clark and Lisa McInvaille. Also surviving are grandchildren, Preston Hillie, Jr., Joseph and Olivia Torres, Kaydan and Kennadee Griggs.
