Mr. Laws is survived by 3 sons, Gene Laws (Sherry) of Richburg, Richard E. Laws (Rebecca) and Wallace E. Laws, Jr. (Megan) all of Chester; 3 daughters, Tammy Hall (Ronald) of Chester, Ashley Nicole Laws of Lancaster; Melissa Crook (Jeff) of Mississippi; 2 brothers, Johnny Laws (Martha) and Jimmy Laws (Edith) both of Chester; 2 sisters, Beatrice Skinner and Diane Robinson, both of Chester; 14 grand-children; 6 great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nellie Smith Laws; one daughter, Joyce Laws.

A gathering of friends and family will be held 5-7p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
