William "Bill" Vaughn Pitts, age 63, of Chester died Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Bill was born in McPherson Kansas to Elnora Arnold Pitts and the late George J Pitts, Jr. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and he proudly served his country. He was a retired Owner-Operator long distance truck driver.

Bill is survived by his mother and step-father, Franklin and Elnora Arnold Pressley of Chester; son, Paul E. Pitts of Rock Hill; daughters, Billy Jeane Harris of Rock Hill, Stacey McInvaile of Columbia; brother, Douglas Pitts (Robert Van Beveren) of Chester, grandchildren, Amber N. Harris, Tasha M. Harris, Maddyson B. Harris, Austin McInvaile; great grand-children, Ayden M. Robinson, Robert A. Jones; nephews, Jamie Pitts and Rusty Hinson. He was preceded in death by, sister, Alpha Kay Pitts; brothers, J.C. Pitts, Kenny Pitts.

Visitation for Bill will be at Pollard Funeral Home, Friday, 6 to 7:30p.m. The graveside funeral service will be officiated by Reverend Randall Runion at Uriel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 3:00p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014.
