It is with great sadness that the family of Amanda Louise Griffin, age 33, announces her passing on April 17, 2020. She peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior. Amanda was born August 19, 1986 in Rock Hill, SC. Amanda was the daughter of Robert and Sherry Morris of Chester. In addition to her parents she is survived by her two children Dyson Griffin and Amaya Johnson, both of Chester; one brother, Wesley Brock of Rock Hill; two sisters, Kandi Alvarez and Sheila Millstead, both of Rock Hill, and several nieces, nephews, and family members who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Brock and her biological father, Lonnie Griffin.

If you knew Amanda, you know that she loved food. Amanda had a creative soul and loved to paint and restore old furniture. Her favorite time spent with her family was curled on a couch, watching movies. She worked most of her life as an amazing waitress and was loved by all of her customers. Though her family will sorely miss her, they know that she is now free from all of her earthly struggles and find comfort in knowing she was able to save lives by being an organ donor.
