Bailey Allen Lawson, 19, of York died July 26, 2018. He had attended York Comprehensive High School and he worked for Axom Foundations. Bailey’s life was one of mechanical interest. He loved working on cars, trucks, racing, mud bogging and riding motorcycles. He had a passion for anything associated with “Bowtie”, Chevrolets and going fast. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Bailey is survived by his great-grand-mother, with whom he made his home for several years, Helen Sluder (Doug) of Chester; his mother, Tara Lawson Davies of Bullock Creek; his father, Jerry D. Patterson (Tracy) of York; four brothers, Robert, Frankie, Caiden Davies and Chance Patterson; two sisters, Dalilah Davies and Aleigh Patterson, all of York. Also surviving are his grand-parents, Robin and David Lawson of York, and Teresa and Jerry Patterson of York; and his faithful dog, Willow. He was preceded in death by his step father, Robert Davies.
A celebration of Bailey’s life, conducted by Reverend Michael Burgess, will be held 3p.m. Sunday at Bethel United Methodist Church, 101 York Street in Chester.
