Hooch Hatchel

July 30, 2019

My dog Hooch ,age 22,passed away today. He was without a doubt the best pet you could ever have.He was a loyal companion. In his early years,he would sit on a bed looking out the window, the front porch ,steps and sidewalk belonged to him,we always knew when someone came by.In his later years he helped me watch over my mother until her passing. He would still stand on the front porch when the Active Daycare bus stopped next door,he would wait to see if Mom was on there.I used to get little pissed,Hooch had a clock in his head, anytime a movie or program was about 5-10 minutes from ending or the race only had about 20 laps left, guess what...time go out and take care of business,i am going to miss that.I can't remember the last time i got to eat a whole steak or hamburger at home,i had those big sad eyes looking up at me.It's really going to be lot different now,no getting up to check on Hooch, coming home to find that wagging tail..yeah gonna be different. When he went,he was in my arms and another family member rubbing his head.He was not alone and he was with his family.
Thanks to Carolina Veterinary in Richburg,Rocky Pollard and Jim......made things easier
