James Edward “Eddie” Canupp, age 65, of Union passed away at his home on Saturday. He was the husband of Mitzi Weir Canupp and the son of James H. Canupp of Sharon and the late Marjorie Hamm Canupp. In addition to his wife he is survived by one step-daughter, Kelly Stevenson Lashley of Chester; two sisters, Joanne Canupp Skeen (Rick) of Sharon and Judy Canupp Biggerstaff of Union; three step-grand-children, Miranda B. Stevenson, Cobe B. Stevenson, Holden D. Stevenson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one step-son, Cullen “Cully” Bryant Stevenson. The family extends a special thank you to Chris Edwards for all of his help during this difficult time.

Mr. Canupp was retired from Milliken & Company.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 30th., with social distancing protocols, 6- 7:30 p.m. at Pollard Funeral Home in Chester.
