James R. "Jim" West, Sr.

James R. “Jim” West, Sr. age 73 passed away Saturday. He was born in Landrum, SC to the late Paul A. and Ivadell Howard West and he was the loving husband of Marie Roberts West. Jim is also survived by three sons; James R. West, II. and his wife Lori and their children, Jimmy and Andy West; Brian Bradley West and his wife Bonnie and their children, Tyler, Haley, Hunter and Heidi West; Christopher West and his wife Sarah and their children, Daniel, Matthew, Dominick, McGinley, Syla, Kimber and Caius West; uncles, Olin Howard and wife Ruby, Ray Howard; aunt, Hazel Hammett.

Jim was a long time and faithful member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church and a member of the Webb Sunday School Class; a thirty six year member of Croft Rescue 18, a 32^nd. degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the Hejaz Shriners Hillbilly Clan Motorcade, Past Master of Westview Masonic Lodge 285, Past President and current Treasurer of Woodman of the World Lodge 28.

Dr. M. Todd Lowe will conduct the graveside funeral service, with social distancing protocols, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
