Janet Marie (Roberts) Dickerson

Janet Roberts Dickerson, 74, passed away Tuesday in MUSC-Lancaster. She was the widow of Horace Harold Dickerson, Sr. and the daughter of the late Myrtle Snipes Roberts and Ernest Guy Roberts. Janet is survived by three children, Harold Dickerson (Tracy) of Chester, Lisa Johnson (Mitchell) of Chester, Tracy Dickerson Brown of Inman, SC; one brother, Mickey Roberts (Shirley); two sisters, Debra Bailey of Lancaster and Vicky Ferrell Vieira of Chester; grandchildren, Whitney Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Tyler Brown, Sarah Brown, Josh Clayton and John Bailey; great-granddaughter, Evelynn Bailey.

Mrs. Dickerson was retired from F. Schumacher Co. and was a member of Chester First Church of the Nazarene.

The visitation for Mrs. Dickerson will be 10-11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at Chester First Church of the Nazarene. The Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. and conducted by Pastor John Parrish. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to the church family life center building fund, 182 Pinckney Street, Chester, SC 29706.
