Margaret Katherine "Kitty" (Roberts) Wright

Margaret Katherine “Kitty” Wright, age 94, passed away in Oconee County, SC. Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late John Elbert and Jessie Wagers Roberts, Sr. Kitty was known in Chester as the Fuller Brush Lady and she was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son, Jess E. “Ernie” Wright III (Tara) of Keowee Harbours, Salem, SC; brothers, Kirk and Press Roberts of Halsellville; grandchildren, Kate W. Dill (Russell), Jess E. Wright IV (Celeste), Amanda Horne Toj Sical (Humberto) and Teresa Lewis (Gene); great-grand-children, Harris Robert Dill and Jesse E. Wright V., Raven Roddey, CJ McDonald, Porshe-Lynn McDonald and Nathan Johnson.

She was predeceased by her daughters, Troy Jane Wright and Susan W. Horne; brothers, John E. Roberts, Edward Halsell Roberts, Troy Wagers Roberts, Wade Roberts; sisters Dorothy “Sissy” Stevenson and Agnes Banks.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial may be made in her memory to Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672 or Beaver Creek Baptist Church 1652 Halsellville Rd. Chester, SC 29706.

The visitation for Mrs. Wright will be 1-2:00p.m. Wednesday at Beaver Creek Baptist Church. The funeral, officiated by the Reverends Terry Wingate and Ross M. Lindsey will begin at 2:00p.m. The burial will be in the church cemetery.
